RIP and Hail Hail Rock and Roll! Chuck put a double espresso into the blues! One of his longtime sidemen played for a short stretch with a blues band I was in and had a million stories about the guy....he was a wild, wild man! 90 years and a hell of a legacy....he lived big.

1955! The world changed, Rock 'n Roll, a new sound hit the scene. Chuck Berry, Bill Haley and on they came.
Saw Chuck Berry the first time at the Cottonwoods in Lebanon in 1955. His one leg squat scoot while still playing was crazy stuff.

Love the Voyager letter, I remember seeing Chuck Berry performing Johnny Be Good at the Voyager celebration.

Hail Hail Rock & Roll. May he forever dance with Sweet Little Sixteen. And Chucky Be Good!

When an old rocker dies the thread goes on for hundreds of posts...

The creator of rock and roll dies and he barely gets crickets...

Without Chuck we would be stuck with Pat Boone, Mel Tome or Ricky Nelson. That's no way to live. 85853694.jpg

Why the heck did you mess up my post.

Who can argue against Chuck Berry being born to Rock?

The Russians hacked your account and were posting personal insults with it in the forum last night.

By repeatedly changing their posts they finally gave up and went to bed.

You must have been tired, only truth was posted.
Chuck Berry was born to Rock.
The bitcher was born to bitch.
End of story. All though he crossed the line of decent in another thread too. Perhaps you were too tired to correct the proper post.

It's very simple, attack what someone posts, not them personally.

Well we are about done here Sly. But I will tell you before I go, only a person can cross the line and it is the person that must be address and informed that it has happen. Nothing to address in the post that crosses the line. When someone chides a Vet for being in the VA collecting socialized healthcare, that is way over the line. I will correct the asshole that does that every time.
You didn't, I tried and you obviated the message.
    I am out.
