Just remember that there are people on this forum, that tried to argue that Crabbe isn't a good shooter :biglaugh:

I just hope Crabbe makes this type of game a regular occurrence (however doubtful.) It'll at least make the discussions in here interesting. I might try a few memes myself.....

He's been pretty consistent all year. Shoots 44% from 3 on tons of attempts

You don't seem to understand the definition of consistent. Crabbe is the exact opposite of consistent. In lingo you'll understand, he's feast or famine. It is games like the 5-5 and 8-10 that are mentioned in this thread, that keep his 3FG% high in spite of many 1-4, 0-4, 1-5 and 1-6 games.

    Here's Crabbe's 3FG shooting in his last 15 games:

    1-4
    1-6
    2-4
    4-8
    1-4
    1-5
    3-3
    2-4
    4-8
    0-4
    3-5
    2-6
    1-3
    0-2
    8-10

Does that look consistent to you? The league average 3FG% is .358. In those 15 games, Crabbe had 8 games that were 3FG% of .333 or less and 7 games that were .500 or better and ZERO games between .333 and .500. So, eight shitty games and seven great games and nothing in between. If that's not the definition of feast or famine, I don't know what is. Yet, his 3FG% for those 15 games is .434. It's only a 15 game sample size, but very representative of Crabbe's season as a whole.

Simply out, Crabbe is a streaky shooter. When he's hot, like he was tonight, he's fucking great. When he's not hot, well let's just say, not so great.

    3rd in the NBA in 3pt %

What more does a role player have to do to come around?

Dame and CJ need to be looking for him more (as they did last night, Dame especially). Dame is trying to get better at giving up his game and get others involved.

Yep. Much less feast or famine. Several games in the ~.400 range. Crabbe's overall percentage is slightly better, but he's either on or off. Last night, fortunately, he was on.

He plays 28.5 MPG, that's practically starter's minutes. Lack of PT doesn't hurt his consistency. He has the most well defined role, and most consistent minutes, of anyone on the team - stand at the 3-point line and knock down open shots. He's only played less than 20 minutes 3 times all year and never less than 17:42. Stotts doesn't yank him when he's missing shots. He knows when he's going to go into the game and he knows what he's supposed to do.
