If Portland rests Lillard & CJ they might end the game with more missed shots than total points.

Not only that, but it would help us keep our draft pick at 15th.

    I'd go with
    Napier (33) / Quarterman (15)
    Connaughton (33) / Quarterman (15)
    Layman (20) / Turner (28)
    Vonleh (20) / Aminu (8) / Moe (8) / Layman (12)
    Leonard (36) / Vonleh (12)

You literally let Leonard do whatever the fuck he wants to try to get some mojo and confidence back, you give Turner a couple extra games to try to get his rythym back. Harkless and Moe play a little bit and Lillard, McCollum, and Crabbe get rested.

If any one needs some time off it's Leonard. He has to get his body right.

Power outage took out my local super market. But it ain't going to make Golbert's arms smaller. That would take some Spanish Inquisition level shit.

That shit he's dealing with isn't gonna get right in a week. I don't think his injury is holding him back from doing things he otherwise would be doing anyway. His mental state is more of a roadblock than his injury.

That's certainly true but he's definitely not jumping as well as he did the past.

Edit: And yes mental has always been a concern even during his predraft workouts.

Yeah, but it's not like his jumping did anything but lead to fouls in the first place haha.

Bingo. He's never recovered from hurting his labrum. A tear like is difficult to recover from and he wasn't all that too keen to go inside much any way. I think if we were using him as a stretch 4 and not more than 15 min a game it wouldn't be a problem. But I think if Meyers could talk to us he'd say, "I'm not going to bang inside. And I'm just fine outside shooting 3's for the rest of my career. So just get used to it." That's obviously his game plan.

Gobert is going to be murder but maybe we can neutralize him a bit by going small and forcing him to chase aminu around.

A Good Guy Aminu game where he randomly decides to hit 5-of-6 from three would do it.

Jazz winning tonight bodes well for us. They will still be hungry tomorrow, but maybe not bloodthirsty like they would be if they lost tonight.

It's just a really bad matchup and there isn't one likeable guy on that team so it makes it even worse. Pure aggravation.

Looking at the standings, I think the Jazz wants to stay where they are to retain home court. My money is with them tonight. Cant believe that AC has another super man type game to pull it out for us.

Yeah but we just need 2 guards of our guards to be hot. Tonight could be Dame and CJ. But I agree if I had to put money on it I would go with the Jazz.
