They had one of the shittiest logos, so anything is an improvement - even something as boring as this.
Did Nike do this? Wouldn't surprise me in the least. I really hope they don't fuck us...but I'm not optimistic.

The Clippers also used to have one of the shittiest, and now they have THE shittiest. So I'm not entirely sure that logic of "couldn't be worse" applies here.

 

Yuck! That's just a minor variation of the alternate logo they've been using since 2008, but worse in every way:



I'm fine with mirror imaging the wolf's head, but the use of green in the eye and the star is nauseating. Also what happened to the fucking trees? They are the Minnesota Timberwolves for fuck's sake. They should have just rotated it by 180 degrees, added the Minnesota Timberwolves text around the perimeter and called it done.

If they REALLY wanted to have the green color, make the trees green, because, well trees are actually green:



I'm fine with the sleeker wolf's head, but I think they should have kept the trees instead of adding the star. They're the Minnesota Timberwolves, not the Minnesota North Stars.

Honestly I think the whole thing the Mavs did with Tony Romo is amazing. Just one of the many reasons why Mark Cuban is a real G

 

Cavs signed edy Tavares and released sanders. Tavares could've helped us. Oh well. Wonder if Larry retires again. If not, that's someone I'd look into giving a training camp invite to.

 

Yeah, boring. Antiseptic. Lacks soul. Lacks originality. Lacks feeling. It's so of its time - it's going to be easy to date this logo in the future, just like it's easy to date all the re-brands that took place in the 90s.

Well damn... I've never seen that alternate logo till now. The old one is way better. I like the trees in the Timberwolf's fur.

I don't know if this was ever in use, but it's so much better than any of the iterations posted:

 

It isn't tough looking, but I miss the early 90s logo.

 

Portland might fall 3 spots in the draft if they win tomorrow. It might make the dif between picking #15 and #18.

 

I vote thumbs down. It looks too much like @SlyPokerDog.
