Watching more Terrance Ferguson today and I'm still not seeing it.

Long but small frame keeps him at the 2 unless he puts on SERIOUS bulk and I like my 2's to have more feel/ball skills. Also think he's overrated athletically. Jumps high and has pretty quick feet defensively, but I think the ball slows him down and doesn't look great running in the open court. Still young and I think he has a good shot to be at least an average shooter and I like that he competes defensively.

Also think deciding to play in the NBL (very physical league) was a good move for preparing him for the next level as far as getting a sense for the role he'll play early on in his career and the areas where he needs to develop. Seems like a smart, competitive kid from all indications which is nice.

There'd be worse outcomes with our pick, but his long term potential doesn't really excite me and for sure wouldn't be someone I'd give up significant assets to trade up for.

I saw that. I think it's a mistake. He was gonna be the man at Oregon next year.

Yeah but a guy with his ceiling, which I think is pretty limited considering size/athleticism/skillset, I think you leave if you have the opportunity to secure a guaranteed 1st rd contract.

That was my thought too. Maybe his agent has some assurances that teams are interested in him as a first round pick. Otherwise, coming out this year is likely to cost him some serious dollars. I see him as Allen Crabbe 2.0 in terms of a pick.

Ever see him play live? It's much different than watching highlight tapes. I'll admit This guy looks like a stud:

But one thing you got to keep in mind is who he's playing against. When he went against those big, strong, long USA kids, he looked shook, stayed out on the perimeter, and was getting handled inside.

It did Buddy good. Dorsey could've averaged 20 per next season.

    Exactly.

People need to ask themselves, "Have I ever seen a highlight that makes someone look bad?"

I have seen Hartenstein live, I'm European, and travel there often. Basketball is always on tv and I've seen him play in both eurobasket and the u18 championships last year. I would say I'm actually more familiar with European prospects than I am with college since college ball doesn't interest me as much.

And obviously highlight videos don't mean anything, don't insult my intelligence.

Zach Collins officially declared for the draft. He will be gone before we pick (unless we move up) though.

Just curious, did you find any game tape on him, and if so, can you link it?

I like Josh Hart. He reminds me a bit of Brandon Roy. Plays with such good control, good ball handling and mid range game.

I like his projectability. Big fan. A 7 footer that can create for himself and others. I see someone else said on here he looked scared at the hoop summit. I'd like specific examples of that because that's not what I saw at all, not then, and not in Europe against guys much more physically mature.

Not trying to. Highlights were all I saw until The Summit. He was garbage against athletic strong players. He played hesitantly, and avoided contact. He was one of the players I went there to see. I came away disappointed.

Since we're talking about euros, another One kinda flying under the radar imo is Kostja Mushidi. German. 18 years old. He's 6'5 but his wingspan is 7" and good shooter so that would appeal to stotts. Big body too.

I won't post a highlight video, but here's an interview

We have to seriously look at moving up to pick him.

Collins would be the perfect backup C to Nurkic, with the potential to be more.

Instead of reaching for (put 2nd round prospect here) with the CLE pick, why dont we trade it down for 2 PHI 2nds? They have 4, and some of this prospects y'all are naming will fall.

Unless he's a lotto pick he should come out next year IMO.
