    I'll play and be civil.

I like Meyers because he seems like a good guy and loves his pet.

    Sorry.....just can't go there!

ML has to do something this offseason to earn time on the court. Right now he doesn't deserve it - because its by default.

I appreciate that Meyers is so slow to react defensively that he may inspire a statue in front of the Moda Center.

A likeness of a bewildered Meyers out front being decorated by birds and homeless people would be just the ticket.

Meyers had some big plays in this game tonight. A few key rebounds in the 4th quarter, turned a missed FT into an extra possession, had a big poke away on Wiggins in the 4th.

I like Meyers, mostly when he rides the bench, beyond that I just flat out cringe.

Nards wasn't half bad this game.
Hopefully he can keep it going, though I won't hold my breath.

I also credit him for keeping his head in the game after getting boo'd in the first half.
Maybe the crowd should boo him more often. Seemed to play better after it happened.

I just feel the need to offset some of my negativity, with something positive. I was really impressed with how he dribbled the ball, down in the low post tonight. TWICE! I mean, he didn't dribble it off his knee, or even travel. Great job! Oh, and his hair still looked nice too....

Ok, back to the bash Butters thread!!!

Edit: I stand corrected. Skip the knee part.....

He, unfortuantely, did bounce it off his knee in the closing minute.

Lmao. That's what I just read in the other thread. You see, when he got the ball down low the second time, I headed to the kitchen. I couldn't stand to watch it again...

That bounce off of his knee in the Spurs game would have given Meyers an assist in my book! Maybe this play in the NOP game was supposed to be a repeat, but the play just needs more practice. Ha! Ha!

You mean, because when it bounced off his knee, the only thing it was going to was out of bounds.

It's not more practice, it's never having him do it again.

I would say let's take every game winning play that we can run to the playoffs. Focus on the wins and they will happen!

He's clueless on defense, maybe sometimes on offense but he tries hard, he's a hard worker, last season pre-injury when he had more confidence he was actualy kind of an enforcer for us. He's a very good 3 point shooter for a big and is athletic for his size as well. He needs more work on harnessing his skills, maybe to be used diffrently (I think he's ideally a 4) and to develop better understanding and feel for the game, especially on D, but while he could be frustrating to watch at times I think he's a positive for the team and being someone people like to make fun of doesn't mean he's really that bad because he isn't.
