Yep. And I like AV overall but losses like this I also think is on the coach and his staff.

Zuc and Hank were the only ones that played with any effort tonight in a game where the winner goes up 2-1. That is mind boggling.

Yup, game four is a home game they have to win. If they don't come out on fire and you see a similar effort I'll board with the fact that a lot needs to change.

I'm predicting we'll see a game 6 down 3-2 needing to win at MSG.

I agree with everything you wrote 223. That's the bottom line. If we no show again in game 4 I think Gorton has to do everything in his power to make big changes here. He couldn't do it last summer, but he can now with Nash down to 1 year left, a Girardi buyout making sense now, and Shatty hopefully wanting to be a Ranger. Maybe somehow they can move Stepan also.

With all that being said, a W in game 4 and this is a coin flip series. Hard to see us winning that game right now though...but we'll see.

I guess we watched a different start 71. To me they came out flat as a pancake.

I guess big picture only down 2-1 but after efforts like that its really hard envisioning this team winning a playoff series even against a team that isn't great in Montreal.

When a dog like Radulov is outworking every Ranger on the ice you have no shot of winning a game let alone a series

I don't know, i mean CK almost had a tip in and Lindberg hits a post. Who knows where it goes if they go up 1-0. After that i agree it was downhill. PP PP PP.

I think it is destined to be back here for game 6 also, but knowing us we'll no show game 4 and win game 5 to get there. I really want no part of a game 7 in Montreal, but of course would sign for that right now given the crap we just watched.

BTW...you have to think Price is thinking really...it was that easy...wow.

They looked good for the first few minutes with Kreiders chance and Lindbergs. After that, it was all one sided

That's the worst part. They are afraid to breath on him meanwhile the Habs are all over Hank in the crease.

If we aren't going to crash the net or get traffic in front of him, the Canadiens can pull Price for those old plastic cutout goalies and be just as successful. It's embarrassing how this team refuses to go to the net, create traffic and get dirty, gritty goals. Every year with AV we all say the same thing. Lack of gritty goals and getting to the net.

Yeah, but they didn't play with any passion or fire. Just because they hit a post and missed a chip in doesn't mean they came out fired up.

13, 20, 93 all playing like dogs. A lot of people on that list, but those 3 lead the charge. 93 plays like he rather be anywhere than in a playoff hockey game. Saw it in OT game 2, and then tonight I watched closely a few times as he coasted around the ice. Pathetic effort.

I really wonder what AV will do for game 4. Have to make changes after this effort, but what does he do...curious to see actually.

You can call Radulov a dog but he has that ugly face and missing teeth for a reason.

Win or lose this series, Arneil has to be given his walking papers in the off season. How many times are we going to have to watch this PP suck the life out of the team and building before AV gets it and gets rid of him??

Montreal may not be the most talented team but they play hard and pumped up to play in the playoffs for Julien unlike our idiots who could care less for that dude behind the bench and his system.

Lose and we need to make big changes. Lose and I will be on board with AV getting fired (assuming we lose in a pathetic way like tonight). Girardi should be gone. Gorton needs to make some trades also.

But before I get into that mode, we have a 100% must win game 4 to play. Maybe just maybe after the pile of shit we saw tonight we'll show in game 4. At some point we have to play hard at home you'd think. Difficult to see us winning that game, but I'll watch and root and hope. Let's see if they actually show up. Right now I almost don't care. If they don't care why should we?

And if there was a hangover from game 2, again it all falls on the passive coach & staff. Shame!

Staal actually looked decent during the season but looks like a blindfolded mule trying to walk through the Lincoln tunnel.

Letting Sullivan go and keeping this coach & staff was a horrendous move by management.
