He could go down in history as having been the first to hit the rookie wall and stay there making a career out of it
I'm with you there. That one was just flat out hillarious though..... Edit: Nah, I don't feel bad for laughing....
We all give Meyers shit because of his play but obviously he has some mental block that prevents him from becoming the player he should be. Overall though he seems like a good dude, seems like he has a dope wife and life, new contract for 40 mil, more power to him.
Alright. Now I will say something legitimately nice about Meyers. He actually does seem like a genuinely nice person. In pro sports you have some real A-holes. Meyers cares about his hometown and his family. And you can't say enough about that.
I do believe that he has the physical tools to be a very good bench player. In the spirit of the thread I will leave off the part that we all know is the problem but but physically that is definitely a positive thing going for for him.
I don't wanna participate in this thread because my grandmother always told me "if you can't say something nice you must be talking about Meyers Leonard" She said that in the fucking 80s
I will say that I don't dislike Leonard and I don't begrudge him his salary. I mean, sure, he took advantage of a naive small town GM with his big city wiles, but ultimately Olshey has to take responsibility for his mistakes.
