Having pain in his leg isn't indicative of anything. He's not at risk of re-injuring it. It takes awhile for pain and swelling to go away. I've had a lot of broken bones from sports and it's always a few weeks after healing that the pain is gone. No big deal.

    Seriously?
Aminu was hurt for some of the first half of the season and Davis has been out most of he season. How did they regress when they didn't play, especially Davis?

Stotts over performed last season based on an overly critical an uninformed national media that predicted..what. 27 wins was it? We have almost the same record as last year with almost the same squad. I would say he has been fairly consistent with the talent he has, which hasn't been much, other than two stud guards, no?

I think, if I've read right, that doctors did in fact say he can't re-injure it.

They wouldn't say it'd be his decision if he could. That would be grounds for them getting fired. I dont think they are that dumb.

Do we even have the same doctors that we had with Fragile Oden?

Some people think that great coaches make great teams out of nothing.

I call BS. A great coach can make a good team great, but it has to be a good team first.
Everybody was saying Luke Walton is the coach of the future... look what he did with Kerr out....Okay, how has he done with the Lakers?
It wasn't coaching as much as it was the talent level of the roster.
    Thibs hasn't turned Minni around....

Coaches absolutely play a vital role, but to say they can just magically improve the talent of players s laughable at best.
A coaches job is two fold. Motivate the players to play at an optimal level, and manage/strategize their minutes during games(a fluid situation depending on the opponent) to maximize the rosters strengths while trying to shut the other teams strengths down to get a win.
If Aminu is shooting like shit, and Turner is shooting like shit, and Harkless is shooting like shit, well sometimes those guys are gonna have to shoot anyhow, and how is that on Stotts? He doesn't have anyone else.
Stotts ran plays that got these guys open shots and they missed them.

Well then, These doctors said it's his decision. That would be Nurk's fault then, wouldn't it? I mean, Nurk knew the risks. It could still hurt like fuck but it wouldn't re-injure.

Just a fucking stupid decision by the organization to let him play. I guess I shouldn't expect anything else though.

Nope. Can't trust those doctors because different doctors years ago made a couple mistakes. MM knows best.

Why? He has no chance at reinjuring it if he's playing, so what's the problem?

No further damage was done to Nurk's leg. And this comes from Stotts.

If there is no chance of reinjury, or injury to something else because of his leg, why wouldn't it be wise?

My guess would be because if there's too much pain, he risks compensating in his movements and injuring something else/playing badly. But you're the expert. Why don't you tell us?
