Dude we need proven players that are comfortable in the clutch. Not some young unproven newbies with potential. Unless you guys want to continue to bake the cake that is?

They wouldn't have any reason to do that, and Ntilikina won't fall to 12.

What can we get for Mo Harkless, Meyers Leanard and one of our first round picks?

    Hello darkness, my old friend
I agree. However, those players won't be available for what Portland has to trade (assuming Lillard/McCollum/Nurkic are off the table).

    So...

Baking the cake, it is. Hopefully with some delicious, unproven newbies on top.

All three picks, CJ, Meyers Anyone outside of Lillard and Nurkic. PG is the only realistic player I trade C.J for.

Nah. We won't get a star and getting another average player who helps us win 4 more games in regular season will do us nothing good. We won't compete with Warriors even if we get two players of Thad Young and Wilson Chandler average/decent quality.

Draft will be where we improve with a view to truly compete in 2-4 years when Warriors are no longer this good. It's not unthinkable that draftess could help us even sooner. Recently players like Brogdon, Booker or Myles Turner did not need several years.

Good, Keep them young! I still don't know what Utah was doing when they signed 35 year old Joe Johnson to that contact.

Rudy Gay could have a similar impact as a 6th man once he gets healthy.

Meh. I've never understood his appeal.

He can score, that's it. He isn't a guy you build around (like teams tried to do) but he would be a great bench piece on a playoff team.

Yeah, he'd probably be an upgrade at the wing over what we currently have I guess. I still have high hopes for Hark though.

This. I like this idea. Probably takes $10M to get him, and $15M to get a James Johnson type.

We really need to try to shed all 5 of ET, AC, Aminu, Davis, and maybe even Moe.

Wed still have a PG, SG, PF and C. Plus whatever picks we'd still have, as well as $30-$40M in cap.

This is the only option to becoming a contender in my opinion.

Yup. He's also a better defender than Crabbe and Harkless. He shoots a solid efficiency, which would go up if he's a 6th man. Would be a perfect fit.

If we need a bench scorer then Wilson Chandler is probably available for a low price as he wants out. I don't think Denver would be willing to negotiate with us though :cool2:
