Game Thread 4/27/17 Game 1 New York Rangers vs Ottawa Senators

21 shots gave up in the first period. I repeat 21 shots. I haven't seen one team play like this in the playoffs. They are here because of Hank. Thats it. It's the only reason why they are here. The team is full of idiot players who don't give a crap. Just pathetic. I cant fathom how awful this period was. Probably went out last night and got wasted.

 

Need to do a little better job getting pucks deep into their zone.

 

Thats why I cant take this coach and this team seriously.

 

9 or 10 of the shots were on the PP. It was misleading due to that.

Once again I write 5 on 5 I saw nothing that tells me we aren't the better team. Need to wake up and stay out of the box. We do that and we'll be fine.

 

Both teams had good chances but dumb penalties are asking for trouble.

Yep. And two of the PPs were directly caused by Hayes' ineptitude on the ice. AV needs to rip him a new one and tell him to focus because he definitely has his mind elsewhere.

 

Hayes was a joke that period. Like 223 wrote, maybe the worst period ever.

BTW...what time do they let the fans into the building in Ottawa?

 

Hayes probably set a record in that period for being a dumbass in the playoffs.

 

It is day and night compare to montreal building. That building was loud as hell.

 

A few years ago that building was crazy loud. Not so far this series, and you'd think with all those PPs they'd be crazy.

 

Pretty sure our PP has reached the point that other teams can start dressing 4 forwards and start trying to score on the PK with how awful it is.

 

Grabner has been so snake bit these playoffs.

 

If we can get a goal soon this building will be REALLY quiet. They couldn't even get a "Go sens go!" chant going.

They have to buy out Staal. He's been trash. At least Girardi has revived his game. Staal has looked like trash all season long and has continued into the playoffs.
