I don't do the "I told you so" bullshit very often, but I knew this is how it would go eventually; LMA is who he is. It's why I was never upset that he left, because I knew the team would never win shit with him as the centerpiece. It just sucks that Neil didn't dump his ass for picks when he had the chance.

It might be useful to remember this feeling, when it comes time to possibly break up our starting back-court that doesn't defend.

I'm sorry, but this is hilarious. Those poor bastards thought they were getting Duncan 2.0 and we were all laughing at them.

Exactly. Can you imagine if we would have dealt HIM to Cleveland instead of Love?

Lamarcus with 4pts...6 boards and 2 turnovers .....+/-36 .....Meyers Leonard plays way better than Lamarcus...

Hard to believe this is the same human being that went off for 46 points and 18 rebounds in Game 1 against HOU just 4 short years ago.

Karma just took a huge bite of of his ass.

If Popovich can't wake him up then the guy really is a useless piece of shit.

Find a way to include the Spurs taking on Meyers and we might have ourselves a deal.

He actually went off on the Thunder last year too.(Ibaka was never really able to slow Aldridge)
Game 1(blowout win for the Spurs)
    38 points
    6 rebounds
    2 blocks
    1 assist

Game 2(1 point loss for Spurs)
    41 points
    8 rebounds
    2 blocks
    3 assists

He played well against the Thunder in that series like he always did in Portland.
I think Memphis is literally the worst matchup for Aldridge, ZBO and Marc bruise Aldridge up too much.
He's been MIA for the whole playoffs so far.

I'm sure the same fans who were excited with how Aldridge was playing in the 2nd round last year. Are the ones who are trying to trade him for a Klondike bar now.

    San Antonio’s Glaring, Seven-Foot Problem
LaMarcus Aldridge is turning into the biggest disappointment in Texas big men since DeAndre Jordan ghosted Mark Cuban two seasons ago. Jordan was never officially a Maverick, but Aldridge’s case is not that different: both committed; neither arrived.

Popovich’s practice of grooming newer stars allows his past-their-peak guys to age well in San Antonio. It’s why Tony Parker’s bumpy year mostly evaded criticism. That 61–21 record covers up a lot of problems — kind of like the basketball version of a magical anti-aging cream. Acquired at 29, LaMarcus was supposed to fit next to Kawhi to keep that system fluid.

Two years later, in Game 1, he finished with four points, six rebounds, and a minus-36.

Here’s bizarre: Ryan Anderson manhandling LaMarcus Aldridge in the post. Rather, Anderson frustrating the former star — yes, former — into being worse than absent. LaMarcus couldn’t hang with anyone on defense. When he guarded Harden on the perimeter, James would blaze past (which, to be fair, happens to most guys covering Harden), and he looked slow on every Rocket he switched onto. Aldridge couldn’t stop Capela when Harden choo-choo-train spoon-fed Clint baskets underneath; he couldn’t stop Patrick Beverley’s 3; he fell for fouling Anderson.

Aldridge looked far from the guy averaging 26 points in the 2014 postseason, just a year before the Spurs would scoop him. Still, he started the second half. A turnover, missed jumper, and rebound later, Pop yanked him for good.

    Spurs fans are understandably spoiled.
