I can't wait until the Blazers are legit enough to be up 2-0 against their second round opponent. If we made it to the WCF the whole entire area surrounding the arena would be packed. I hope they put a big screen where the band plays when that day comes!

Or do it at Pioneer Courthouse square. I think we could fill an arena and PQHS if the team was a legitimate contender.

Man it sucks watching the Jazz kill the Warriors on the glass. Makes me think of what could have been with a healthy Nurk/Ed/Ezeli

Also the Warriors PA guy annoys me, but I can't help but feel like I would love him if I were a Dubs fan.

David West has never been a better defender then LA, never rebounded better then LA, never drew a double like LA did, they shoot about the same and pass about the same. West also had the beast point guard since Magic Johnson playing alongside him the majority of his career. I know you hate LA but the hate has blinded you if you think West was a better player. They are similar players and i'll give you comparable but David West was not better then LMA.

Warriors really are just that good... I wonder if Neil, Paul, and Terrys thoughts about the future of the team change depending on whether the Warriors roll everyone else, or whether they get challenged by the other teams.

Right now I think the Rockets might stand the best chance of winning a series against the Warriors. They look like the only team left in the west capable of matching them on the offensive end.

Now Draymond starts missing 3's, of course...

If the Jazz get killed does it make us look better/worse?

Anyone see Isiah Thomas give Otto porter a bloody nose? I can't find any good videos of it, all the ones i'v seen are bad angle because its from behind and it almost looks like Thomas punches Porter as he goes by him.

Bold prediction: The Jazz aren't winning any games this series if Gobert only gets 8 boards in each game and the Jazz only outrebound the Warriors by 7.

The Thunder killed the Warriors on the boards last season. The Jazz are just doing fine...that's not nearly enough against this team.

I think Gobert will have bigger rebounding games, but I also think the Warriors will shoot better than 22% from three.

He is a 30% 3 shooter who shot well over 50% against us. Couldn't' sustain it, although I remember reading somewhere that for two years now players have shot uncontested 3' against us at the highest % by several points.

That drove me nuts. You've got a player in Draymond Groin who is a threat to do basically two things on offense: create for others or shoot the spot-up 3. The last thing in the world you want to do is sag way off him and dare him to shoot uncontested shots, or have open passing lanes.

A guy who shoots 30% from 3 for his career i will sag off and let shoot ALL day long. Its an anomaly that he shot 50% and its not something he is going to replicate again and i'd rather have Green shooting 3's then in the paint creating offense for his team. On completely uncontested 3's Green shot better but his career he is still under 35%.

He may not shoot 50% every time, but it's not inconceivable that a 30% shooter who doesn't lack confidence and has good mechanics will hit 40%+ if left wide open on every possession. Green steps into his 3-pt shot. If you crowd him, he won't have time to do so and his percentage likely plummets.

I don't recall many instances over the years of Green creating offense in the paint. He does his work from up top, mostly.

I work with kids all the time. I connect with them by simply being myself. Just like you and I, kids don't like fake people.
