What is it about Portland in that "peaceful protests" and parades bring out the best of society? I mean, Occupy Portland was one of the worst examples of the movement, with rampant drug use, Molotov cocktail usage, raw sewage running through and the rats having a good time. The Election Riots got violent. Molotov cocktails made a comeback on May Day. But hey! It already has its own wikipedia entry. So you've got that going for you, which is nice. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2017_Portland_May_Day_Riot Some of my friends from Olympia said that the protests there got ugly, but I can't imagine anything like this. 25 arrests.
