    "If" can always be raised by anyone. "If" is meaningless when you have no evidence. Proof should only be pursued as a follow on to creditable evidence.
    Fishing expeditions are normally a bad idea, in this case it is sedition.

    Trump ran an entire campaign on provocation and sedition....America is terrible...horrible..drain the swamp....lock her up....our military is a mess...etc....he slandered and provoked pretty much every organization in the country and office flailing his way to power.....you should really rethink the sedition accusations considering the source...

    Is the Speaker of the House doing his job?

    Under the Constitution there is no provision to Prosecute the President. Only the House of Representative can impeach the President for Treason, or High crimes and misdemeanors. The House has a committee looking into the " Trump Russian Collusion" thing which would be in keeping with the Constitution. There is no mention of the FBI in the Constitution nor an amendment authorizing a change in the impeachment process which might create a roll for the FBI.

    I find it incredible to see various officials stand up and speak of needing a non partisan FBI Director, a person of impeccable character is needed to carry out and unencumbered investigation?
    Scary man! These people want Jesus to appear and do God's work!

    I believe the Constitutions calls for special treatment of the President including only trying the President by the Senate upon impeachment by the House, with the Chief justice preceding, is quite correct. Otherwise chaos is in control, with partisan harps stoking every heat source.

    An unfettered fishing expedition by any FBI director seems to be out of bounds. The FBI is not responsible to the people, only Congress is. A special Prosecutor as called for by the Dems has no place either, for the same reason, and we do not prosecute the President. We have representatives accountable to the people impeach the President base upon the evidence. If they engage in fishing expeditions, the people have a remedy.
