    Deputy national security adviser for strategy Dina Powell also attended last week's meeting and pronounced the reports as false.

    "This story is false," Powell said in a statement. "The president only discussed the common threats that both countries faced."

    Without more evidence, I trust McMaster more than anonymous sources. I wouldn't say for certain either way, but at this point in time I'm not swayed. There is plenty of shit Trump has done which is horrible, no need to obfuscate his vile filth with potential lies.

    If Trump sent out three top officials to lie about this, it is a big deal.

    The Post claims it redacted details for security reasons. It's legal for the president to tell anyone he wants anything that is top secret. Whoever gave the Post info that needed to be withheld committed a serious actual crime.
