The Nothingburger! https://theconservativetreehouse.co...starts-warning-democrats-about-nothingburger/
You want a charge first and then an investigation? Is that the way you think it normally works? Treason. The constitution says otherwise. You remember the constitution, don't you? barfo
The charges being made are at the Russians..that's what our intelligence agency is groomed to do...safeguard our executive branch from Russian tampering..nobody said Trump tampered with Russians although he does have Ukranian interests and Turkish interests....it's Trump's team that seems to be compromised .....all this from a guy who wants extreme vetting of Muslim looking people and Mexicans but can't seem to handle vetting his own staff.....the fact that he gave Flynn that post to begin with is pretty far from extreme vetting....more bluster without direction or control ....the fear here isn't that Trump is a Manchurian candidate but that he's not smart enough to know what's happening outside twitter and TV.....and he's getting played on the international stage.
Yes. Treason you say. Here is the bar on that one. "Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court." Who brings this charge?
Investigate what? What crime? The constitution is pretty clear, for impeachment. Treason or High Crimes and misdemeanors. So which is it? If you can't say then I call that sedition if you want to keep this shit up. And it is dumber than shit to have the people that work for him do the fishing.
When do you investigate murder? When there is a body. When do you investigate any crime? When you know it well enough to articulate the offense. When do you investigate the President for a crime. I don't think you do unless the House does it as part of the impeachment process. But Geez, not without articulating the crime they charge him with committing. Then in the case of Treason, that takes two fearless souls and a state of war.
I think Trump should fire the ass that hired the special council. Tell the American people and the Congress to he will run the government as he said he would. The House can proceed as they deem fit.
So I'm not smart.....piss off mate ....Trump isn't smart enough to handle a former head of the KGB....yeah, that's a real stretch on my part eh?
Speaking of incompetence...of 557 vacant govt positions. Trump has only 57 nominations....about twice as many as golf trips so far
I think it would have been far less an issue. Democrats claim Comey was (almost singlehandedly!) investigating Trump himself.
Bill Clinton did the same thing. He didn't hire for shitloads of government vacancies when he took office. How'd that turn out? Balanced budget!
We don't know, so we can't prove which would have resulted in a larger outcry. I think it's Flynn being pardoned but we can't know. However, we do know from multiple leaks Trump was shocked about how vigorous the reaction was for Firing Comey, a person Trump believed all the Dems hated and wanted to see fired anyways. I think a Flynn firing would have been easier for Trump to predict a backlash from. But this is all speculation.
Geez! The dummy has drummed up a few hundred billion in business from the same guys Obama was crapping on. My old buddies at Lockheed will love this not smart enough bumble.
Sure, selling more arms to the middle east is always a great idea. What could possibly go wrong? barfo
Not a damn thing. I hope we sell 50 other countries an Anti Missile System. Perhaps not N. Korea, Iran or Syria.
What does a "Special Counsel" accomplish? In the short term. Take the heat off Congressmen that want to wail about impeachment without the need to answer to their voters. In the Long Term. Nothing. Congress still would need to do the impeaching. What will the loud mouth corps do when the Nothingburger is served? Ha! That will be funny.
