as of tonight, no more breitbart nor msnbc, fox nor cnn, no more. no more cable nor internet news sites. no more rush nor maddow, Hannity nor hartmann, no more. my only sources for news, even though they be controversial, shall be coast to coast am and midnight in the desert. my only trusted sources from this day forward are art bell and George noory. no more arguing left or right, right or left. politics is dead to me, and I am sure to use my time more constructively. someone brings up trump, be they supporter or resistor, I am going to bring up aliens. someone brings up Christians or Mulims, I want to talk about guardian angels. examples of this weeks topics include historical witchcraft, magic psychedelia and religious pharmacopeia. I think tonights show shouldd be mandatory listening for prunetang so we can have some local perspective on some of the subjects. night after tomorrow has decentralizing the future and alternative roswell theory on the agenda the 25th brings one of my favorites alien and ufo encounters! open mike nights will help listeners forget about trump completely and realize some are more wacked and extreme in their views and beliefs than anyone espousing political views here on our forums. good listening, aloha https://twitter.com/CoastToCoastAM
George Noory is the worst. Sadly Art Bell has retired for the 12th time. And Noory is a YUGE Trump supporter. The radio network that his show is own also does Rush Limbaugh so Noory falls right inline with him.
only listen to what you want to hear is the secret. too bad it is politicized. commercial fishing in Alaska in fisheries I used to prosecute as a harvester/catcher boat left a lot of down time and boredom between periods of semi controlled chaos. art bell's show was a welcome respite and something we could pick up on the tuneable single side band radio. the grocery store checkout rags like the star and enquirer were also very entertaining though these have become politicized too. the fun is still there and tuning out the political drivel while listening to the shows on radio seems to be much easier for me and only utilizing a small portion of consciousness to do so to pluck absolute gems for humor and huh moments. much easier to find entertainment there than internet websites. plus subscribers can pick and choose, fastfwd the bullshit. for me it is a better escape than arguing here with those of non like minds. besides its better for the bloodpressure too
I like following the news, many of the ones you listed. However, I don't think it does much for me to be informed (real or fake). A man I greatly respect got tired of politics but still wants to participate where he can so he has sworn off all global and national politics but still keeps abreast of state politics and very attuned to our town and county politics. I think this is smart. Me, I actually enjoy NYT, MSNBC, Drudge, NPR, Glenn Beck, Slate and others. I don't trust all, but I do trust that some on that list like NYT and Slate try to report the facts correctly even if they do let bias in sometimes.
Art Bell was awesome! He may have no believed all of his guests but he listened to what they were talking about and asked intelligent questions. He was a great interviewer. Noory just sucks, you can tell he's just reading off a list of things to ask that some intern came up with. Never asks a follow up question. Then he goes into his god gotcha mode. There used to be some fascinating scientists that would come on there, remainders from the Art Bell era, they're talking black holes or supernovas or something cool and then Noory goes into god mode. "Do you believe in god?" "Why not? I think this about god, I think that about god."
anything fresh on dark matter digital network that anyone reccomends?, the hostess tonight is live and topical about bombing at least but moving on to remote viewing of alien species. midnight in the desert is the shows name
Michio Kaku has been on both Art Bell and Noory's shows multiple times. Besides being our generation's Einstein he has his own radio show. If you have a chance give one of his episodes a listen. This was from last week. Enjoy! https://kpfa.org/episode/exploration-may-2-2017/
