    Maybe they felt he was better qualified for the job than the other candidate?

    Is there any video of this alleged "bodyslamming"? Given the mainstream media's track record, Gianforte probably sneezed too loud and the reporter started screaming 'rape!'. If some dickhead wants to buffalo his way into somewhere he's not allowed then he can expect some resistance.

    Considering Gianforte apologized for the incident and to the reporter (during his victory speech, in fact), I think it's a safe bet that the incident did happen.

    The voters considered this, though, and want him in office anyway.

    If you're so questioning of the blue media, and rightfully so.
    Why didn't you listen to the reporters of the red media saying they had to file police reports and to the account of the bodyslam & punches they witnessed?
    I mean it was on FNN for three days. The same reporter telling her tale, and how she was stopped by police to give her eye witness account.
    There is a difference between skepticism and blindly following your party.

    I never said "blue media" or "red media" i said mainstream media. FNN is pretty mainstream. Funny how you accuse me of partisanship based on a narrative you created yourself. You cant just invent an argument on my behalf and then proceed to debunk it. I think thats called a strawman.
