Still holding out hope he finds a way to get Isaac or Collins. If not, I'd trade out of it. Any other player at that spot feels like a reach imo.

Yes we better. RealGM gets no respect around here and BGD is usually the guy who links us there. Where have you been?

    He's an interesting prospect.
Extremely thin, I would be hesitant to even let him play worrying he might get injured, but he's also very long, versatile, can play inside and outside, has solid instincts, a good shot blocker.
The question mark is mostly about his physicality and what would make my decision on him is how good can he be as a defender in the half court: yes, he can guard the 3p line and also the rim, he's quick, is agile, a good rebounder, but how good is his defensive basketball IQ? Can he be like RoLo for us or like what Ezeli was supposed to be, someone who has superior defensive IQ for a big, knows exactly when to stay with his man, when to switch, when to help on the weakside, when to go for the block. I think he's not there yet but maybe has the potential to evolve into this kind of player. If he does then he's worth a 1st round pick IMO

Edit: this is not based just on this clip, I watched some more highlights of him on youtube

The base for the type of player Jeanne could become is more Porzingis than Gobert. Jeanne is more agile than Gobert and has a higher ceiling offensively. If Jeanne ever develops that shot, he's the perfect compliment to Nurkic.

Yes, I can see the Porzingis comparison but what could make him more than a poor-man's Porzingis is if he develops as a defensive player

He should be there at 26 and a pick that if you want to gamble with it will that pick.

I'd definitely take a shot at Jeanne or Bolden with #26 (if we still have the pick). Just say 'No' to John Collins anywhere. 'Turrble' defense and a complete black hole on offense. I think Allen could eventually play some '4' as well as '5' and needs conditioning more than I'm concerned about his motor. Like Jackson at #15 if he is still available.

Back to the topic of Jeanne, while I have reservations about him I don't disagree that he could be a good (or at least interesting) option as a PF next to Nurkic

Portland owns the No. 15, 20 and 26 picks in this draft, and several teams are eager to get into that mix. The Knicks have inquired about some combination of the Blazers’ picks, a source said, and those talks are ongoing. New York has the eighth pick and could trade down for a combination of picks, though the preference for the Knicks is to keep their pick and add one of Portland’s.

The Nets have inquired, too, and that could be interesting because of the Nets’ ability to absorb salary. Brooklyn stands to have about $40 million in cap space next summer, and without much to offer big-time free agents, leveraging that space to accumulate picks with bad contracts would make sense for the Nets, who will see the No. 1 pick swapped to Boston this year, and have next year’s pick sent to the Celtics, too.

For the time being, Portland wants to dump a salary in a deal for a pick. If they could dump the contract of the maddeningly frustrating Leonard, who is owed $31 million over the next two years and could get the Blazers close to slipping under the tax number, one of their picks could be had

Multiple Mock Drafts: Some take need into consideration but most don't as of yet.

    Pick..Draft Express...NBADraft.net...FoxSports.....HoopsHype...SBNation....BallInsiders
    #15......Anigbodu............Leaf......................Jarrett Allen......Leaf..................Ivan Rabb......Jackson/J. Collins/Anigbogu/Giles
    #20......Giles...................Giles.....................Landon..............Adebayo...........Bradley..........Patton/Kurucs/Kurucs/Kennard
    #26......Landon...............P.J. Dozier...........Ferguson...........Dozier...............Z. Collins.......Pasecniks/Landon/Hartenstein/Kurucs

Basketball Insiders has a panel picking. Certainly no consensus among them all. Not thrilled with any of those if that is how it actually turned out.

Which Collins does SB Nation have us taking at 26th? Is that a Z?

@Pinwheel1 As posted, Z (Zach) Collins. (I was running out of room to put his whole name) I don't think there is any way he falls that far but that is who they have.

I hope most of those predictions are wrong. How many times are we going to pick 6'9+ melanin-challenged 3pt shooters before we move on? Nothing against Lydon and Leaf (sound like a new chain store), but they are not at the top of my list.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Larry Bird was 6'9'' and shot threes. He was also melanin-challenged. And a hick.

Maybe Lydon and Leaf are the next Larry Birds.
