So I google white people for the fuck of it, first thing I come across https://www.theguardian.com/books/2...ite-people-review-race-reni-eddo-lodge-racism
"Person of color" is one of the dumbest new terms everyone is using lately. It implies everyone that isn't white is the same, and comes off as "racist", which all the people that like to use it totally aren't.
So if your white you cannot cook food that is not from you heritage and you cannot have an opinion if its about racism or anything deemed non-white. Okay, got it. Not even sure what that article was trying to make a point on, if it wanted to talk about minorities and what they deal with it did a real poor job of doing that.
29 seconds in and all I want to hear is the guy make a Crocodile Dundee voice "it's not my holiday but this is my gun" This is about Cinco de Mayo I suppose. Who gives a shit? None of the Mexicans I know. They're daughter's quinceanera, they'll blow thousands on that shit.
Well you know, these PC morons have to keep coming up with new terms, since after they get people properly trained to use the last "pc approved term", they need to switch it up so they have something to police.
So should mexicans be prevented from anything created by white people? So they can't drive a car, use anything electronic, live in an american style home....
This morning in "white people are bad"... http://forward.com/culture/film-tv/...er-woman-is-white-lets-not-pretend-otherwise/
It's pathetic that some people actually go around worrying about that type of stuff. So I suppose every movie should feature a black, woman, transgender, lesbian, dwarf, mentally challenged, wheel chair bound super hero so as to break the stereotypes.
I couldn't finish reading it. Gal Gadot has one thing going for her that most actresses have. She is unbelievably hot. The end.
Do we have a list of everything we use today and who invented it? I would like a huge list with everything from antibiotics to zippers. Then I can decide if I want to follow this rule. Who invented porno? This could get interesting. Where's Dave Chappelle? We can have another racial draft for invented stuff. After the draft anything a race invents they get to keep.
Where is everyone? Getting ready for the war in Portland? I'm at the gym, my wife is on an elliptical next to a Hispanic guy and I'm watching an Asian guy do wicked awesome pull-ups on the big jungle gym thing in the middle while I ride the exercise bike. There's black guys everwhere too. Feel soooooooooo scared. There's a better looking blonde version of Deb from Dexter doing stretches on the fake grass while wearing tiny clothes. Doesn't she know how dangerous this place is?????????
The American experiment is a melting pot. Let it melt. For all the talk of qualifications, if there are 10 equally qualified applicants for a job, to get into college, etc., the odds the black person gets in are 9:1 against. Or 8:1. Not good, and not exactly an even playing field. We have the right to freely associate. If people want to do so to protect certain cultural elements, so be it.
It's not easy, accepting outsiders and immigration, even if they're just from somewhere else, don't even have to be from another colture. One thing I can say from my experience that melting pot isn't exactly the right direction IMO, it should be more multi-coltural when you don't try to turn everyone into the same thing but embrace the differences and the opportunity that comes from meeting and getting to know new people and coltures. I think it really depends on how you look at it. If you embrace this change or look at it as threat. And I think you should look at it as opportunity. Without giving up on Portland's colture but thinking these new people can make it even better
Wrong. You misinterpreted my statement, I immediately followed up and explained what I meant and you just refused to accept it. You even went so far as to make it sound like I plainly said that white people are more racist than other races. It's not my fault that you misinterpreted my statement and then refused to accept any clarifications that I posted to clear it up. Looking back, I can see why you read the sentence the way that you did, but my subsequent posts made it clear what I was saying. I did clarify, and you just refused to accept it. It wasn't an "error." It was just a sentence that could be read different ways.
