Despite my snarkiness, I'm not a mean spirited person, but yes. Let's do that. That seems like a fun bet. Good luck to both of us, and let's hope whoever wins, it results in Bell being a Blazer
Thornwell only if we trade back into the second round. He doesn't look bad though. I like John Collins.
Completely agree. I really don't understand him going in the 17-20 range after guys like Allen,Markannen, and even Collins to a lesser degree. Great size for today's NBA, does a good job guarding on the perimeter for 6'11, developing jumper that looks smooth, improved ball handling, elite floor runner. I wouldn't be mad with Patton at 15. I think most years he would go top 10 for sure.
little bit more info on these guys today: http://www.nba.com/blazers/forwardcenter/june-7-pre-draft-workout-participants
Because he played in the D-League last year. He didn't enter the NBA draft last year, so it's his turn this year.
Interesting that three of the six are shooting guards, even though Portland has already 4 on the roster; Olshey working hard to unload Crabbe? Correction, four of the six.
4 out of the 6 players in this 1st round workouts are pretty good players so competion today between these guys must been intense especially in the scrimmage. So kudos to Olshey matching this guys for some good competion in these workouts. I also think Hart is Olshey type player and I have him going 26 to us. Some of Hart workouts before today have him moving to the 1st round.
