First CJ. Now Dame. Does Portland have any prayer to get enough cap space next year when he's a FA?

No, considering they're way over it right now, mostly due to multi-year deals and they still have Nurkic to sign next year.

Healthy, we'd have as good a shot as anyone. Might as well play the games and find out.

No, the guy is not smart enough to know which picks we have; how could he be smart enough to know George would never re-sign here if McCollum was gone.

Reading too much into it. The question he answered was, "Would you play with Melo?" so he was naming what he considered a positive of that to be.

I haven't read anything at all that would make me think that George and Butler are not available. And if they are both available, I think Olshey is going after the guy who has a couple years on his contract.

Unless a player we would miss is included, I don't see any way 3 mid to late picks getting us either guy

Unfortunately, it's true. Unless indy wants to just take on the horrible contracts of Crabbe/Leonard.. Oh well. It's why I don't get involved in the offseason stuff too much... it hardly ever comes to light, so I find better ways to bide the time.

Would you guys give this up for PG(duration of contract)?
    Television (Sans Blazer games)

I think I'd be fine giving up TV aside from Blazer games. It's tough though. I'd say this includes watching shows on Netflix and Hulu (etc...). If he was here for 4+ years I think I would have trouble unless I could re-watch Blazer games whenever I wanted to.

At the same time we would be really good with PG on this team, so there would be a lot of incentive to re-watch games.

Side note I re-watched Lillards franchise high 59 against the Jazz last night. Still can't believe he missed 2/3 FTs which would have gotten him to 60+.
