    The thing is, if Paul George comes to Blazers and we are in western conference finals legitimately challenging Warriors, I think he would re-sign with us... maybe today he is set on Lakers... but I have a hard time seeing him leave Dame, CJ and Nurk if they experience success... I think we should offer Crabbe and 2 picks... probably more than anyone else will offer.

    Screw renting a player for a year, especially a Laker fanboy. Fuckin barf. Better off rolling the dice with our picks and/or maybe gaining some trade value thru them, and making some other deal. Short-sighted, overpriced instant gratification move imo. New gameplan, fuck PG.

    So PG told the Pacers he was leaving. Do they wait til the deadline, or deal him now to the Lakers? The deadline could open up more teams wanting a push towards a title.

    Dame and CJ need to talk to PG (Maybe they have already) and assess the situation. They should be able to help gauge PG's long term possibilities in Portland. Obviously things could change over the year, but at least they would know if it was a "no way in hell" scenario on whether or not he would re-sign or not. Between them and PG's agent, the Blazer's front office should be able to get enough information in order to put together the right package for him .

    This is the Key. Lillard/CJ have mentioned PG's name numerous times. Never someone like Butler or others on that level.

    Would be great if Dame, CJ, and PG colluded to have George convince Indiana he would sign with the Lakers next year just to lower the asking value for Portland. Maybe they are trying to trick their way into a super team.
