Someone quoted the tweet before I deleted it so the original tweet is in the quoting of it. I was too lazy to edit that but considering how much time I just spent saying all that I could have just deleted it too.
Being verified basically means you're some form of media or a celebrity/known figure. For example everybody that works for the blazers is verified regardless of how many followers they have. Apparently if you know the right people over at twitter you can get verified and it isn't that difficult. Rasta posts bias very left tweets because when people see a verified account they think that person has some form of validity. Sometimes true but these days so many are verified. Even super right idiots. There is nothing wrong with people responding to tweets, the issue is, the trend ever since trump has become president, people will reply to every one of his tweets with shit that isn't even on topic or related to the tweet. They do this because a lot of people dislike trump and many retweet and favorite their replies which gets them more followers usually due to exposure from retweets. It's a way to climb the ladder of twitter if you're into being popular on twitter. It's a lame way. It's hilarious to watch though because they basically have trump tweets on notifications the second he tweets. So most of the time these people only spam his replies for their own gain. Yes, twitter is fucking stupid. However it can be important in terms of news and getting news fast, people recording incidents and getting it out there quick. Unfortunately you always have super left and super right people battling it out all the time
It's really sad what vice has become. They used to be one of my favorites. They had such interesting documentaries and great journalist but ever since it got bought out and they got a show on hbo, it's a left extremist destination. It's like buzzfeed. It's a shame because Shane smith, one of the founders seems like a cool dude. He basically just sold out for money. Interesting though, Gavin McInnes one of the other three co founders left because he had a sense it was becoming this and missed out on a lot of money though he does have his own platform now. He's a guy on the right but most of the shit he says is pretty funny and hard to argue his points. I disagree with some of the things he has to say but he tackles subjects with a sense of humor that makes you laugh about it because it's true.
They really ought to have truth in advertising. The party's name should be the Undemocratic Party. Because elections don't matter.
Then there's this Trump Denial Syndrome which doesn't make you crazy but brings the crazies out of the looney bins and let's them be really loud. According to a poll focused on Trump’s approval rating among initial voters, the president has a 100% approval rating. Pollsters surveyed 25 of the most rabidly-supportive Trump voters in America. (thought I'd try out Denny's bold emphasis thing here) read this in an article on the flawless internet this morning.
I'm sure if you survey 25 600lb Taco Bell junkies they still love Taco Bell. Is that the point? That something you know is bad has 25 people that love it?
Remind me again how democracy means the guy who got 3 million fewer votes wins? I don't think the Athenians would go for that, really. Also, could you point me to the shadow White House where the Democratic party has installed Hillary Clinton as President because they're refusing to accept the constitutionality of the 2016 election? Other than that, killer one-liner Denny. I'm sure you came up with it all by yourself.
