I think Blazers put that out there just as a dig against Aldridge.

I just shit on LA in a youtube comment this morning, but when I heard he could possibly come back I was intrigued for a second or two, then I heard that the Spurs supposedly "hurt his production" and then I was over it.

I'd take him back for a 6-month rental if the cost is only Turner+Meyers. I think his play in Portland would revert to form & then I'd trade him to Orlando or Sacramento for something.

We could trade bloated contracts for him and bench him behind a rookie

After leaving the Blazers for the Spurs, he would then leave for the Lakers to go join George/LeBron.

the blazers are probably interested in trading Meyers and a re-signed Festus for LaMarcus plus 3 1st round draft picks and cash considerations.

CJ basically admitting that Aldridge was, in fact, a prick.

I could actually see this happening and snark aside.....he'd make us better as well as have his going home moment like Lebron going to Cleveland. He is a very good piece in Stotts system. If he comes back, I'll deal with it ok. He's 10 years older than Vonleh who I hope we keep around

Spurs apparently asking for a top 10 pick and some cap relief to sign an FA.

I don't see him coming back. When he was here he required the ball so much and he wants to be that player again. Not on this squad. He would have to play different. Dame is the man now, with CJ and Nurk behind him. Lamarcus would be 4th option and damn, really amazes me CJ said that. Wonder what Dame would say to this proposal. I think he felt most hurt by it at the time. Dame tried so hard to coexist with him

I'd strongly consider sending Crabbe + Aminu for Aldridge... would do some damage to the cap situation when he opts out after the season.
