    Nurk is playing with some kids back home in Tuzla
    hes chilling and hes practicing while here, but I guess hard work will start when he comes back to Portland

    You're looking at this the wrong way.
    "This draft did not spell the end (cause) of Meyers." is the wrong correlation.
    The appropriate way is "Meyer's abysmal play CAUSED this draft."

    I thought Meyers was going to spend the summer playing in as many pick up basketball games as possible so he can learn how to play basketball and actually play basketball instead of thinking about how to play basketball while he's trying to play basketball.
