No no, MM says that Draymond gets under people's skin EXACTLY like Nurk, but you don't get to count the nut kicking or the ref slapping because he said so. That evidence will not be allowed in the court of Mediocre Man. He has had it stricken from the record. He said that Nurk and Draymond are exactly the same and that's that.

 

That IS the way he plays. It is literally happening on the court, in game play. Hell, his excuse for the kicking is that it's part of his natural shooting motion. You just don't like it because it doesn't fit your narrative about how everyone on here is hypocrites.

 

He handed the ball to a player on the ground once. I think that was marginally worth a T (In HS it's a T. In the NBA? Borderline). It's definitely taunting but I've seen way worse.

As others have pointed out, the bush league shit is part of the way he plays. In fact, it's HUGE part of how he plays and what defines him as a player. If you refuse to acknowledge that you're either being extremely disingenuous or extremely obtuse. Or, maybe your usual argumentative self.

In short, people dislike him because of what you call his bush league shit - the constant complaining and jawing at the refs, the repeated kicking incidents, etc. Nurk may talk a little trash to his opponents (I wish them a happy summer), but that's a LOT different than Draymond's "bush league shit".

Frankly I would be embarrassed if one of our players was kicking other players repeatedly. It's dangerous. He did it to Allen Crabbe as well. You would have had better luck comparing him to Batum, if you really wanted to play the hypocrite card.
