I could see Iggy returning to PHI.

    Fultz / ?
    Iggy / ?
    Simmons / Covington
    Saric / Holmes
    Embiid / Okafor

    Iggy+Covington would be two lock-down, multi-positional defenders.

Gerald will probably be a Warrior, Cav or Spur anyway now

That would be me. I started lobbyng for him early last season when it was apparent that PF and back up center was a huge weakness for us.

I lobbied even harder at the trade deadline, as I thought O'Quinn would be great with Nurk, both playing beside him at the 4 and backing him up at the 5.

After drafting two bigs in the first round, I think the need for O'Quinn is less urgent. Our front court is suddenly crowded, but if we trade Vonleh (to avoid a costly extension next summer) or Leonard (to avoid seeing him play), I'd be all down for bringing in O'Quinn. He brings elite rim protection and rebounding, can play either the 4 or the 5, has a nice mid range game, a high motor and is a surprisingly good passer. Plus, he's cheap, very cheap - for now.

The Knicks currently have enough cap space to absorb Leonard's salary, He fits their time line better than O'Quinn and if he can play similar to what he did two seasons ago, would be a good back up for Porzingis.

I'd totally do a Crabbe + Leonard for Lee + O'Quinn trade. Lee is older than Crabbe, but would fill a similar role at 2/3 the cost. O'Quinn is a much better fit (and a much better player) than Leonard and 40% of the cost. And he only has one year left on his contract. If Collins and Swanigan develop as hoped, we could let him walk after a year.

It would be a great way to dump two bad contracts and actually get better in the process.

If the Blazers are able to dump Meyers this offseason, we should make a board pact that we'll all get totally plastered that night!

So, waiving Gerald Henderson makes the 76ers better? And, even if it does why does it matter? They aren't even in our conference, or do you think them waiving Gerald Henderson somehow improves their odds of beating us in the finals next year?

Your algorithm needs adjusted. I can't even come close to parsing that last comment in any way that even comes close to making logical sense.

Pretty sure an agent (for Hayward) or writer said that he would leave UT if they didn't resign Hill. Doesn't sound like they will so I wonder how he sees Rubio. Probably not all that enticing to him.

If I am the Knicks and hearing the rumors of the Banana Boat buddies looking to unite on one team next summer, I am going all in for LeBron and Co next year. They already have Melo, I would dump Noah and Lee's contracts and maybe O'Quin. If they don't think they can get all the old dudes, then at least go for cap space to help Porzingis . But adding Crabbe and Meyers would not be my plan. Not until at least after next summer to see how it plays out.

I'd say there's about a 0.000001% chance LeBron tries to assemble his next group of super friends with the Knicks.

Hell, he'd be much better off forcing a trade to POR the way CP3 did to HOU, At least here, he'd have a ready built core of Dame C.J. and Nurk to join forces with. I say this 100% in jest as I don't think it is even remotely feasible, but I feel the same way about LeBron going to the Knicks - and that's my point.

$35M/yr for Blake Griffin... That has to now be the worst, riskiest contract ever, right?
