Neil should be on the phone with Detroit asking about Tobias Harris and Reggie Jackson. Reggie in patticual fell out of favor and saw his minutes decrease significantly at the end of the year. Tobias has done better playing at the 4 and Detroit seems pretty set on shaking things up.

He's better than anyone we have at the 3 or 4 spot and still only 24 yrs old. Shot 35% from 3 last year and 37% the year before that, averaged 16 and 5 in 30 mins of play. I'd take him in a heartbeat in a deal centered around Harkless or Vonleh.

If Portland offers Nurk, Harkless, AC, Vonleh, 2 future 1sts (or some variation) for Drummond, Jackson, and Harris does Detroit consider it? As much as I love Nurk I'd pull the trigger on that deal.

Good Lord no. You're trading our future (Nurk and two 1st round picks) for 3/5ths of a line up that won 37 games in the Eastern Conference. I wouldn't do that deal even without the draft picks.

I'd do that in a heartbeat.

Drummond is all numbers and no substance. Pistons fans are extremely frustrated with him.

Haha alright then. Guess I'm obviously in the minority on that one. I see Drummond a more sure thing over Nurk and Harris with more potential that Harkless, AC. Jackson would be good off the bench and our picks aren't going to be great in the coming years anyways. But I see both sides. Just an idea.

Yeah but why would Houston give up a first for shumpert? More realistic would be a couple of seconds and we dump Meyers or Davis.

Since I can remember. I know I'll get killed for this but... Nurk's injury history scares me and I think some of the expectation might be unrealistic based off a good 1/3 of a season. I like Drummond for defense and potential and think that AC,Moe,Vonleh aren't going to get us anywhere so moving them is easy for me. But I get the Nurk hype and see both sides.

Nurk and Drummond are the same age. Why do you think Drummond has more potential? I think Nurk is significantly better than Drummond on offense. He's a better passer, he's a better shooter, and he has a MUCH higher BBIQ.

Drummond doesn't demand any real coverage offensively, isn't a good passer, and he shoots 38% from the line. He can rebound and defend but what good is he when he has to sit in the fourth and doesn't solve our offensive woes when Dame/CJ get trapped?

Drummond has to be one of the most overrated players in the league. He puts up big numbers, but his actual impact on the game is minimal.

Nurk should be the only untouchable on this team IMO.
