I was gonna say a UPS uniform but he'd throw our packages at the front door from the sidewalk.

Wolves get tougher. At least they didn't get Milsap.

Could Denny add to the like button as Facebook does so we can simply express anger :angry:instead of "like", without having to post a reply?

I wanted him here years ago. We never get anyone really good. It can't be about money can it?

To a large extent, it is about money. Because we're over the tax threshold, the most we can offer anyone is the tax payer MLE, which is a little over $5 million. Gibson got $14 million a year from the T-Wolves. No way was he going to turn down their $14 million to take our $5 million.

HOU used their non-tax payer MLE on P.J. Tucker. They were able to offer him $8 million per year with no state income tax. The most we could have offered him was $5 million a year with 9% state income tax.

Being over the luxury tax threshold prevents us from competing with teams that have cap space or have the full MLE. I think that's something like 27 teams that can offer more money than we can. One of the ~three that can't are the Cavs, and they can offer just as much as we can, plus the chance to chase a ring.

I wouldn't mind Gibson either. If you're Portland and can't attract free agents like LA or Miami or other more glamorous cities you should hire the best coach you can find.

It comes down to you pay players what they are worth not what the cap say you spend. I don't mind Crabbe but if it was me last year Crabbe would been a Net. ML would be playing in the G- league now because I properly wouldn't have offer him contract. I don't mind Turner but the contract would been 12-13 million a year.

I hadn't heard that GS has agreed to a contract with Durant, yet. Is Durant salary included?

Jeez these Crabbe and Turner contracts are looking worse and worse every passing day. Really decent players still available for SIGNIFICANTLY less money
