New Orleans? Lmao. Come on man... We were better than DEN last year, and Nurkic will make more of an impact than Millsap.

New Orleans has the best frontcourt in the NBA, they will mesh now that they have a full camp together, DEN is gonna be better too.

Right now, if we traded for someone like Tobias Harris it would feel like we won a championship of some sort.

They have the worst perimeter group of players in the NBA. Name a perimeter player on their team other than Jrue Holiday.

Are people seriously counting Nurkic as an off season acquisition? "Oh, we'll have a healthy Nurk.... so that's like another player right there!"

    Hello darkness, my old friend
I don't know about that--I still wouldn't pick Denver ahead of Portland just because of Milsap. But this is going to be the most competitive division in the NBA, especially if Hayward stays in Utah. I could imagine Portland finishing fourth (in the eventuality that Hayward stays).

I love Nurkic. But last time I checked he was one player and we already had him on our roster. If he turns into a defensive wing or a scrappy backup PG who can help shut down CP3 or Curry, let me know.

"One player." Yeah he's one player. A gamechanger. Portlands most valuable player. With Nurkic Portland beat pretty much everybody they played, including a bunch of teams with their playoff lives on the line. It wasn't a fluke. This team as currently structured will win a minimum of 50 games next year.

Dame goes to Neil, asks for talent. "We got you two unproven rookies"

Dame watches teams in division get better.

How long before dame says fuck this shit because it looks like we are asking dame and cj to carry the offensive load again while not improving our team. And it has everything to do with Neil's shitty off season last summer.

I am not saying he's not good but when your constantly starving for talent, isn't it really easy to "overvalue" someone's impact. A thirsty person thinks a sip of water is an oasis. He still has to prove he can stay healthy and on the floor for an entire season. And when he's not on our chances of winning go down drastically. If Collins has an impact then I say we have much better chances. It's not that we don't have good players, its just the drop off in all talent when all three are off is severe.

With our luck Dame and CJ will be coming up an end of their contracts before Collins shows something then we get stuck paying 30 year old Dame/CJ 60+ mil per season combined

We are in the toughest division in the NBA now. Damn, everyone else gets better around us, we sit and watch.
