Me too. Her acting was incredible. Should've won Oscar.

There's a movie called Shimmer Lake on Netflix that is a nice/nasty little thriller. Thoroughly recommend, especially if you liked Memento. They did a trailer for it that made it look more comedic than it is (partly because it had Rainn Wilson and Rob Corddry in it). Specifically this trailer:

Ok, so I wasn't even close to wanting to watch Chips.

It was a total bomb from everything I saw and Dax isn't my idea of a movie star.

The wife wanted to rent it so I did. It starts with a crude scenes and graphic nudity and violence warning. I thought maybe it wouldn't be so bad.

I loved almost every minute of this collosal bomb. It's totally ridiculous from start to finish.

It helped that I expected nothing out of it. If you don't mind a movie with no redeeming qualities this is up there.

Yeah. You're right. My bad. I just put on the Netflix queue through a recommendation. Didn't really type in the title.

A little late to the party, but I just watched Moana with my kid last night. I wasn't expecting much, since all of the Disney movies lately seem to be carbon copies to me. Man, I really enjoyed it though. Good story and music/singing. Anyways....

Still Mine. Canadian film starring James Cromwell and an attractive 70 something year old lady named Genevieve Bujold. Really well made love story. The main plot is that the wife is having dementia that is worsening and the 87 year old husband wants to build her a smaller one story house that is easier to manage.

Nothing ground breaking but quite entertaining and sweet.

"The Big Sick" was hilarious and it made me cry at the end. So best films of the year so far are that, Get Out, and Wonder Woman. And for kids, I'd recommend Captain Underpants.

Michael Showalter, the director of "The Big Sick" was so funny on The State. Him, David Wain, and Michael Ian Black are maybe the best comedy minds the 90's produced. One of the dumbest things MTV ever did was pull that show after 26 episodes. And they kept shit on like AEon Flux. Wrong choice.

Saw it. I thought it was ok. Story was kind of boring. The idea behind it was good.

Didn't know you had a kid. Moana is good. Watched it with my son. He loved it. Kept his attention the whole time.

I like the rock and I like Jason Statham though hes starting to pull a nic cage and do a bunch of stupid movies. Statham is at his best in the transporter movies. Snatch is pretty good. I am going to watch his upcoming movie meg where he takes on a megladon shark Jaws style to save a stranded boat crew. I hope its worthy. I like him in the fast and furious movies too.

The House with Will Ferrell. Should have been funnier. Not bad, a few chuckles, but something was lost in translation.

Baby Driver.... In-fucking-credible! Edgar Wright's caper film is the closest thing I have ever seen to a Steve Mcqueen movie. With a star making turn for Ansel Elfort posessing the qualities that made The King of Cool well.... so cool! Jamie Foxx and Jon Hamm burn up the screen as bad guys. This is a neo-noir style film that sucks you in. Not to be missed!
