OK, how about Crabbe and Leonard go out, plus Vonleh. They go to NY. Anderson to us and Anthony to Houston. This won't work on Trade machine, but doesn't Houston have some non-guaranteed contracts to trade out to balance it? I consider Anthony's trade value neutral at best so I think NY does OK. Houston does OK. We do OK by clearing some contracts and getting hopefully a useful player.

I also disagree about Mo with the reports that he's continuing to work on his outside shot.

But what are you talking about (bolded text)? March, the only full month Nurk was playing for us, was statistically his 2nd worst month of the season. And he had slightly better stats before the all-star game than after.

Alright. "Exploded" was a poor choice of the word. BUT....I still maintain that he played noticeably better after we got Nurk. At least, that's what it seemed to me when I watched him play. Others may disagree, and that's fine. But I thought he played better after we got Nurk. His stat numbers don't show his increased confidence or the specific plays he was put in with the presence of Nurk being added to the starting rotation.

I'd love to move Crabbe and Leonard. That's gets us out from under 2 of the 3 bad contracts we signed last summer. I kind of hate to see Vonleh go as I think he still has potential and has shown he can at least play defense and rebound at the NBA level, but with the drafting of Collins and Swanigan, Noah may end up being the odd man out anyway.

With all those non-guaranteed contract HOU has been hoarding, maybe there is a way we can also get Kyle O'Quinn from the Knicks. He doesn't fit their plans, he's very affordable and is a veteran that can back up both the 4 and 5 spots.

I'm probably just looking at the past through Bosnian rose colored glasses, but I thought everyone at least looked better with Nurkic on the court. Statistics aside.

Except Turner and Aminu aren't starters if you get Anderson. You can't "hide" anyone else when you are already hiding Dame and CJ.

Agreed. Maybe it just appeared as if Moe played better, even if his statistics didn't show it.

    I'm saying this again:

Look at Moe's 3 point numbers after Nurk.

And I don't really think people are understanding that having a slasher like Moe keeps the defense honest and helps get our 3 point shooters open. He's arguably the best on the team at moving without the ball. This illustrates my point nicely. 4 of Nurk's assists are to Moe on LOVELY cuts to the basket:

Boston needs at least a pick here...I'd also throw in vonleh and even that might not be enough

    Look guys, here's the thing:

We would have traded Meyers for a bag of chips and a dollop of sweet and sour sauce

Now we mad that we get a living, breathing human being?

    Thought we needed that perspective.

Oops, forgot that, Houston would have to add, as getting out of Anderson's deal for Carmelo way too good. Future first to Boston, 2020.

But based on NO motto, there's no way we get Anderson and Crowder because he's such a low risk kind of GM. DMorey could pull that off tho.

Boston NEEDS to shed salary in order to give Hayward the deal they just offered him. Obviously, it can come in any form of salary dump there is, but getting a 1st round pick out of it is much better than sending him to Utah for free just to make the trade go through.
