So the Wiz matched Porter's contract.

    Allen Crabbe anyone!?!

They already traded for Demarre Carroll, and were paid handsomely with 2 picks to do so. I think the Crabbe trade to the Nets has already sailed.

Carroll and Crabbe are two totally different situations. They took on Carroll because of those picks. He's not part of their future. The guy is about to turn 31.

Crabbe is still young. He'd be part of their future.

KCP might be able to be signed for less. Crabbe has a trade kicker.

    I just don't see it.

At the least I would see them asking for our 2018 1st to take on that contract.

They will not take Crabbe for $19M a year, not a chance. They are more likely to give playing time to LeVert and Rondae and look for players in the draft, or use cap space to acquire future picks like they have done with Carroll. Nets are not building a team to compete for playoffs in 2-3 years, they are building a team that will play decent basketball in 4 or 5 years.

I think they have a good chance to get Caldwell Pope.

My bet is that KCP goes to Atlanta.

Is this an actual image of him? If it is, I never noticed his nails.
I used to get real upset when I played against guys with long nails. I'd always end up cut/bleeding from them and have to come out of the game until it stopped.
Never understood why people who are going to play contact sports don't keep their nails short.

Looks real to me. Not sure why either. He could be considerate like LeBron is:

Dame is one of many players with talons. Ever notice how many guys have their arms torn up every game?

Feeling a little bad for SacTown. They're basically starting their regular season starting 5 against the lakers summer league team (sans Ball) and are down 27 in the 3rd.

To be honest, the game would probably a bit closer if Ball was playing.

I actually like Sac Town this season as the surprise team out West. Can't pay too much attention to summer league. They have fantastic young talents plus vets like Zach Randolph and Vince Carter to help guide them.
