    But so was I. I was planning on modeling the colony off of the city of Portland. You would have been stuck in it. I suppose you could have gone 10 miles north across the dry ancient river bed and created a shitty Vancouver on Mars?

    That's what humans do. We're almost like a virus. 3 planets are in the Sol system's Goldilocks zone. Venus, Earth, and Mars. All three of them are rocky planets. Venus' atmosphere is due to a runaway greenhouse effect. Mars is just fucked. Humans want to act like they know but nobody knows how we got on this planet. Nobody knows who did whatever to the other two planets in our Goldilocks zone. It is conceivable to say that we fucked those planets up before we got to Earth.

    Here's the thing, Humans can talk till their blue in the face and can believe whatever they want. But the fact of the matter is NOBODY knows for sure how and when we got to this planet.

    God could exist. He/She could also be non corporeal alien being a million years old that did some planetary experiment. The fact is nobody knows.
