    But is the choice Houston or Portland or is it Portland or New York? I have no doubt he'd rather go play in Houston with his buddies but if it's New York or Portland, do we have a shot?

    Who do you prefer we use as the "one" big in that situation for the 2nd unit? Only Zach Collins is a rim protector, but in November will he better at the other things than Caleb (i.e rebounding) I think Collins will be better at PF as he has quicker feet.

    I guess we keep Davis as the backup center but I do not consider him much of rim protector either.

    Nurkic wouldnt be as productive as last season, less shot attempts etc
    it would stop Nurkic progress as a player, its really that simple

    Nurkic might become 2nd option on this team, and if you bring Carmelo, hed be 4th option on offense

    Which is why I would include Davis in the trade and insist on O'Quinn coming to us to back up Nurk. He's an elite rim protector (6.9 BLK%, 12th in the league in BLK while only playing 15 MPG).
