    One has nothing to do with the other. They didn't want/or have enough to have to pay Plumlee this summer..... I don't think they thought he would go back to Brooklyn cause he didn't want to be here. Remember Nurk is going to need to be paid to stay here very soon.

    Houston's best bet is going to be trying to get a 1st Round Pick from a 3rd team.for Ariza, and then using that to take on Lance Thomas' contract, while using the extra pick to help compensate NYK and/or a 4th team for Anderson:

    Team A Gets: Ariza
    Team B Gets: Anderson, Team A Future 1st, HOU Future 1st,
    NYK Gets: Team A & Team B expiring contracts, Hartenstein, HOU Future 1st
