Harkless needs to watch a bunch of Kersey videos. Kersey had a great balance of recognizing he wasn't one of the big dogs, but being aggressive and scoring at the right times. Amazing that Kersey averaged 19pts/8reb as a SF when he was 25.

Napier is an option but we need a better versatile wing/perimeter defender. Donavan Mitchell woulda been ideal.

Too bad we don't have a guy with good handles, who can score and pass well, and can also defend 1-3. That would be perfect.

I would consider Turner, but he can't because he's a SF.

I don't want to take the ball out of CJ's hands to put it into ET's. Turner's a gamer no doubt, but the fit is just awful.

Yep, despite having not been in favor of Mitchell throughout the draft process, I'm starting to lament Collins over Mitchell, simply because of the value he could have provided as a 3rd guard after Crabbe's departure. And honestly, without Collins in the fold, holding onto Nicholson as a 3rd-string big would actually make a lot of sense.

In time, Collins may still turn out to have been the right pick and the better player, but with the roster as currently constructed, Mitchell would definitely have been a better immediate fit.

Ya, that doesn't make any sense. Also, DA has a history of mistyping and misspeaking on certain topics I've noticed.

I didn't watch too much of him but don't remember being overly impressed.
I would also want not a SG but a combo guard, I want the type of basketball we play with Dame and CJ for the entire game. I understand bringing someone as good as them isn't realistic but if Napier isn't getting any minutes, I would look for an upgrade in his role for someone who would play 20-24 mpg

I would argue that when Dame is out of the game, we need a point guard, and CJ isn't a point guard--yet. ET is much better at facilitating. Maybe that will change. I knew CJ puts an insane amount of work into his ball handling. Just haven't seen him be a great facilitator to this point.

All this Mitchell talk. He was not a higher prospect than Collins, nor was he a need a the time which is why he wasn't in your favor. When we drafted we were looking for our PFOTF not a 3rd guard. We already have a 3rd guard. Evan Turner.

I like Mitchell, but not with Dame and CJ. At some point, one of them is going to be unhappy. And, still think ZCollins will be a more unique and valuable player down the road.

Rocket fans still think they have all the leverage. They don't seem to understand that it's actually better for NY to let him walk at the end of the year rather than take on any of their shitty contacts like Anderson.

If I'm the Knicks GM and I see that there's an All-Star player in Cleveland who wants out, and Cleveland is one of the places that Melo said he'd waive his no trade clause for, I'm probably sitting there thinking, "Yeah, I think that we'll just see how this unfolds a bit before rushing into a trade somewhere else."

It'll be hilarious if Melo gets stuck in New York because he was too much of a baby to go somewhere where his friends weren't at and waste one of the few remaining years he has left in the nba.

Well, he's a free agent at the end of the year, so he could still go somewhere with his friends, but not at a max contract level.

I'm pretty sure they have an ointment for that.
