    I can't.
    Personally even though I loathe the new announcing crew. I'm willing to admit they are prolly both good people.
    They just don't tick my fancy, and when they start trying to create new positions on the court I have to mute the TV or turn the channel.
    Same with every announcer for national broadcasts. When they start going off on tangents it forces me to either mute or turn it.
    Announce the game, talk about a play then move the fuck on. Don't spend 6 minutes on a single damn play.
    @riverman suggested radio late in the season this year. I might listen to more Wheels this year... But I wouldn't get to see for myself the ins and outs of the game I love so much.

    Basketball is the same way. Regardless of the great play Westbrook, or Harden just made.
    I can't stand it when a player so talented then takes a play off defensively and gets away with it.
    Or attacks the basket 1 on 5 misses the shot & his wide open teammate only to complain to the ref instead of get back on defense.
    (I could keep listing, but I won't...)

    It's one of the reasons why I could watch the Spurs/Mavs/Grizz so often. These teams just don't take plays off, and when they do... They get benched... Doesn't matter the player.
    Frankly it's also one of the reasons why when I grew out of my teens I appreciated Kobe's game so much. Hated him because he was a Laker fan, but I might be the only guy on this Blazer board with a Kobe jersey hanging next to my AI, Billups, and Lillard jerseys.

    I've enjoyed Wheels for years on the radio.....never cared for the live broadcast crews as much as the radio guys....not just the Blazers....I think radio is a better experience in general than TV for calling games.

    I can sit back, watch, and enjoy college basketball because it's pure basketball. I watch nearly Blazer game. That's enough for me. All my reasons are valid, and you didn't even argue them, you basically said "You can't ignore all that?"

    "Broken" and "failed" are two different things, IMO. My car can continue to function despite several mechanical problems (broken) for quite a while before it actually stops running (fails).
