What I've read is that wall street doesn't care about what's going on in Washington, the companies' earnings are sufficient to justify the prices, and the enacted and promised regulatory changes would do better.

We may be in a bond bubble, though.

Hmm, after reading that piece, sifting my way through all of the stilted drivel, it shows nothing more than the typicla shift left/ shift right that is usual during a change of administration.

Damn. Never wanted to go driving?

Are you waiting out for a combo job?

I'm coming up on 11 years as well. Over 5 as a driver.

I didn't want to go driving while my Daughter wasn't in school, she just turned 6, so now that she is in school fulltime i'v debated driving and Full time combo but I think I may wait until my Wife is done with Graduates school to make a choice since having an open schedule really helps out with my wifes school since she doesn't have a choice of when her classes are anymore.
5 years as a driver, did you not want to go Feeder when they had openings a year ago.

They're still hiring in feeders. People with a lot less seniority than me have been going to feeders. I might do the feeder thing when I'm close to retirement, but I actually enjoy being out there and doing the daily grind in the package division. Days go by quick. Everybody I've talked to in feeders loves it. But I just don't think its for me. If you ever decided to go driving feeders probably wouldn't take a long to get to. They make like $130k a year. You'd be able to retire at 51 with a pretty phat pension.

Is Tony Fuller still the day sort manager?

Fuller retired about six months ago after being on nights for a little over two years. Malito got mad at him and moved him to nights. We'v had Todd Gurts, not sure on his last name, running Days since Tony got moved.
I might go Feeder if I go driving but I'd want to give the daily grind a nice shot before deciding mostly because most people say the day goes by really quick.

Ok, so what's a feeder? Somebody who delivers packages to the route drivers like you, Mick?

Long haul drivers. Any time you see a semi with the UPS emblem its a feeder driver.

Todd is a cool guy. He got to his position at a young age because the company offered him a job because he got his arm sucked into an extendo and almost had to have it cut off.

Elizondo is my favorite. Super cool dude.

Malito reminds me of a mob boss.

Didn't know that about Todd, i'v liked him as a boss so far. Elizondo retired too I'm pretty sure. Malito reminds everyone of a mob boss but he is out come February as well.
