I never said equally. They both have a part to play. Both came to instigate and get in a physical confrontation.
Ok, so you say the situation isn't 100%/0%, but it isn't 50%/50% either. What exact fraction of the blame do you put on each side, then? barfo
The counter protestors are more liable. They did not have a permit to counter protest I believe and if they weren't there, there likely would not have been any conflict.
So the fact that they were Nazi's etc. is completely irrelevant in your view? It's all about permits? barfo
Why would it be relevant? Freedom of speech and freedom of expression is protected under the constitution. As long as they don't get in my way, I'm not going to run them over or anything.
The Nazis didn't have a permit for Friday night. They also didn't have permits for the marches on Saturday morning. Because of their actions on Friday night and Saturday morning their permit for their rally was pulled. tl/dr: Nazis didn't have a permit either.
Does Trump really not know the difference between George Washington and Thomas Jefferson vs Robert E Lee?!?
I was listening to a couple people talk about this. Vice Mayor of Charlotte although I thought he was correct about some things. I found him quite rude.. Vice Mayor of Charlotte went on to tell the conservative radio host to 'be quiet and let me finish'. Not sure there is much difference between telling someone to 'be quiet'. And telling someone to 'shut up'. Which is what was told to Simone Sanders by a GOP senator. She went off on CNN and the host told the senator that's not acceptable. Which it's not... The discussion eventually broke down to grandstanding on both sides imo. & Neither side were being quiet when the other were talking. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe there is a difference between telling someone to 'be quiet' and telling someone to 'shut up'. Personally though. I find both equally disrespectful. This is why it's difficult for me to listen to cnn or foxnews. as bs like this happens so often on both sides.
What's the difference? Weren't they all slave owners? Who's to say Washington and Jefferson wouldn't be Confederates in the civil war?
How do you people watch this orange orangoutang of a human speak and actually support him? This just baffles me. You people actually chose him to represent you and your beliefs and values. Blows my mind that this man speaks for you.
I don't get it either. I can't understand how anyone could hear him, learn what he stands for, see his actions, and be like, "Yeah. This guy is great! He perfectly speaks for what I stand for! ".
Oh! I am sure he knows the rabble will run out of Lee statues way before the Jeffersons and Washingtons are gone.
