Eh, because only certain history is part of the education system. I'd say right now anyone sporting a confederate flag is considered a Nazi/racist/etc. I don't personally find the confederate flag offensive it does not scare me. But I imagine there are some people who relate slavery with that flag. I also don't personally judge a person because they have a bandanna on, it just doesn't scare me. But I personally know people who relate bandannas with gangs/criminals.
Did this actually happen? or is this a staged picture? I mean I don't know many people who would respond positively if someone came up and did this to them. I certainly wouldn't.
Come on bro....I highly doubt that's a staged picture. Kudos to the guy for keeping his cool (or so it appears). It really makes you wonder what is going to happen to reenactments. Is the Alt-Left suddenly going to start showing up to reenactments and protesting?
We'll cross that bridge when we come to it. However if Antifa does show up to things like that. Big government will be happy as they want violence.
Wait, I was just called smart in another thread, but I know that is not true because I cant figure out QFT, lol.
Saying "some people relate slavery" to the confederate flag is equivalent to saying "some people associate genocide" to the swastika flag. As in, DUH!
