No they haven't. This is the fight thread for the boxing match.

Boxing is WAY faster than what he's used to and he's never gone up against such defense. If he wants to win, Conor should stay in MMA as he will be out of his element boxing.
Buuuuuuut I feel him. He wants to get paid and he basically talked enough shit to get Mayweather to agree to help him get paid.

There is NO FUCKING WAY this purse should be as big as it is. But it is.

They really have, as evidenced by people talking about conor and floyd in the octagon too. So i read your beat his ass comment as being a legitimate fight. It's ok I already conceded that I misinterpreted your statement.

Boxing still does today. But I barely hear about the boxing community anymore. I don't know anyone still into boxing. I hear tons of casuals talk about mma all the time.

Ufc takes a giant cut of the revenues. They feel the ufc brand makes fighters who they are instead of the individual personalities. Boxing seems to have it right in that regard. Thats why a company like Bellator is good to have. The UFC needs some competition. They slowly seem to be evolving with the new ownership. Dana white commented conor could own a piece of the UFC. I think they are scared he quits fighting and he is one of their only cash cows (gsp is probably the only other one now with silvad decline, rouseys decline, lesnar popping and going back to wwe most of the time, and jon jones being a piece of shit human being)

Ufc seems to be more modernized and a more popular platform today. Knockouts or finishes to fights seem to be more prevalent with the 4oz gloves. Who knows though, if floyd dominated conor maybe the love for boxing comes back again.

Boxing doesn't have the names like they used to..... Tyson.... Holifield.... Oscar De La Hoya... Roy Jones Jr.... George Foreman.....

Besides Mayweather, who else is there on that level?

It's the same silliness when people say the T-wolves will win 50+ this year.
Or in previous years when people said the T-wolves were a playoff team.
Going to be enjoyable taking peoples $ when the T-wolves are under 50 games.

Mayweather is not on any of those guys level... Ok De La Hoya...though De La Hoya won that fight...that was a bullshit split decision.

De la hoya lost that fight. Not sure what fight you were watching but Oscar could barely hit Floyd in some of those rounds.

He's not on any of their level because of their weight class. But Floyd is a way better defensive fighter than any of them. As much as I love Roy Jones jr., Roy has a glass jaw.

    People know his name.

There used to be so many boxers that were household names.

Who is currently boxing that is a household name?

De La Hoya won more rounds. He hit Mayweather like crazy. Dude punches so quick they couldn't keep up on the scorecard. He beat Mayweather.

Rooting for the mma guy considering that's my shit. Mcgregor is no bitch let's get that straight, his size and reach, power in left hand is serious. Only way he wins though is by tko/ko. I really do wanna believe in him but it's Floyd, the best defensive boxer we have ever seen and even at 40, who knows if he's lost a step or some speed. I fully expect Floyd to win this but I do think people really underestimate mcgregor

I just saw this fight last night. I'm going to watch it again and then give my score round by round. I still think Mayweather won tho.

Want to watch an old great fight, watch Marvin Hagler and Roberto Duran....13 rounds....Hagler won by decision after almost losing in the 10th...epic boxing match. Hagler vs Hearns maybe the best fight ever for middle weights....then Hagler got ripped off on his last match with Sugar Ray and retired, knowing he'd won that fight...one of the biggest fixes in boxing history...Sugar Ray clearly lost that decision but somebody wanted him to win...great era for boxing the 80s..Marvin retired with a 62-3-2 record but held the championship for 7 straight years. Should have been 63-2-2

    Irish isn't a race.
Showtime needs to take notes. Embedded shits all over all access. So does HBOs 24/7. I like how they're only 10 minutes long. Makes you want more.

No matter what, win or lose Conor gets what 75 mil?

They fight till the 10th and in the 11th Conor kicks him HARD in the JoJos. 2wice.

    Mayweather DROPS and it's over.
