Hmm, we wouldn't want anyone getting angry and wishing for another person to die or anything like that. It'd be terrible. Just turrrrrible.
Here's a fact - anyone that supports Trump has no grasp of general, basic, human decency. There are no links. Fuck your links and your "truth." Common sense and decency matters. He possesses none of it. I'd be disgusted attaching myself to such filth. No shame
Well, yes. I believe the usual expression is "War is hell". But you are the "that's just the way it is" and "it is what it is" guy, right? So let's not "over exaggerate" things. You should have an alternative, if you want to be a critic. It's a bit too easy to just say 'I don't like it'. Nobody likes it. barfo
I can be bias at times but for the most part I would like to think I'm down the middle. I don't think all news is fake, it's just half truths and you have to sort it out and research yourself to actually know the whole story these days. I think most politicians are pretty corrupt or a liar. Trump is a liar, Obama I think was good to a degree. Knew how to talk, make that connection. Also lied though. Clinton both corrupt and liar. Sanders sold out after the dnc fucked him over and started campaigning for Clinton basically showing he could be bought out. Bush, liar. "Weapons of mass destruction". The list goes on.
I think we can agree thousands of innocent people dying a year due to US drone strikes is not the answer, sure I don't have an alternative but I believe there should probably be one.
Holy shit. That's a requirement for being president and anyone who votes for someone who isn't a nice guy is a dirtbag? So, nobody should have voted. Got it. Also, please post a list of "sources of the truth" for me so I can be learning me some truth as you see it.
I just clicked on a yahoo story about this to read the comments. It really is amazing when something that literally doesn't affect one person on Earth other than Arpaio gets people so furious. Trump should pardon Roman Polanski and see what happens.
To be fair, I never said I wished for it. I said I wouldn't be bothered by it. There is a distinction. I do however hope that he gets impeached and hopefully kicked out or resigns from office. But I have no fondness at all for him, I believe he is very distrustful and his being president will cause many hardships and likely cause many deaths that would otherwise not occur.
Well, you clearly put more weight on his impact on our day to day lives. If I didn't watch any news or play on my phone I'd never know the trauma that people are experiencing.
However - to the topic of this thread. Trump has every right to pardon this shitbag-sherrif. All presidents seem to pardon someone that I don't think should be released, but it's their prerogative. However, what does bother me about this pardoning in the timing and the message that is being sent with the pardon. I believe this pardon was a bit of red meat for the portion of his base with the most hatred and racism. This is another act that will signify to the neo-nazi contingency that Trump will continue to be their man. It's wrong and divisive by the President. It's making sure that race continues to be a bigger and more pronounced divide in this nation. He is setting the tone for a race war.
I live a good life. But that doesn't mean that I don't care for those that don't share my good life. It also doesn't mean that I don't care about the direction and tenor of our nation. Perhaps it's my upbringing, but I do believe in the Edmund Burke quote "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." I see this divide worsening, the "white" vs the "other" and I think it doesn't have to.
I haven't looked into it but on first glance, it's a contempt of court charge which is up to the judge, so no. But, as I stated, Trump has his right and I tend to disagree with many pardons by every president.
I can't help you with this. I can't gather with a bunch of masked goons throwing urine and rocks at cops because neo nazi dipshits run around in khakis holding upside down signs or tiki torches. I can't participate in the echo chamber where not getting furious with redneck morons attacks you if you don't want to scream and shout how much you hate Nazis. I've seen plenty of non white groups screaming racist things and protesting stuff. I don't attack them either because I live (past tense now?) in a free country where people can think anything they want. They used to be able to say anything they wanted to as long as it didn't directly harm anyone. Now the loons have decided that words equal violence. It just doesn't though.
I think living in Vegas has had a really positive impact on my psyche. I don't feel this animosity that I see on tv. I did notice one black dude look at me funny in the days after Charlottesville.
