FYI while I think Osteen could have been a bit more proactive, his church has also been at least partially flooded. Maybe that's a factor in his slow response?

Church was NOT flooded. All access road were very dangerous around the church. They were asked and opened immediatelty
Perspective: Harvey has dumped 10 trillion gallons of water on Houston in 4 days, with more to come. That is enough to Fill Salt Lake TWICE fill New Orleans 128 FT OF WATER Dump about .2 inches of rain on the ENTIRE CONTINENTAL US 50" of rain. For comparison, Katrina dumped 15" on New Orleans.
