I'm not sure what accusations you are referring to unless you meant the ducks game thread, that I think you took out of context.
You are a great guy man, and do a ton around here.
All I meant is that in giving the tickets away in the fashion you did, with contest like that immediately alienated anyone who has had issues with HCP. It also continues the to fuel the drama flames.
That's all I meant. I do not believe that was your intention, im simply pointing it out the outcome for some.

how about a button for you that causes "on the hiway to hell" to flash across posters screen that cross the forums rules and another that flushes those same posters and/or two or more posters that, for obvious reasons, need to get a room to some unmoderated space to duke it.

Here's a great idea.... Let's turn every thread into a "bitch about HCP thread".... That should make this thing a lot more fun.

For all the folks bitching about HCP and the other folks that haze them, two things:

1. You're bitching about how HCP is ruining the board for you. Please consider how you're constant bitching and crying is perpetuating all of this, and how you are ruining the board for the majority of the forum members. I am spending less and less time on here because I'm a grown-ass man and I don't feel like wading through the whining from other supposed "adults". I don't feel like babysitting. Clearly, Sly enjoys that his role has turned from moderator to babysitter, or he'd be gone by now. (And a BIG thank you, Sly, for dealing with this lame shit, as well as all the coordinating you do between the board and the Blazers' organization. If I hadn't met you in person, I'd consider you to be an angel.)

2. This is a basketball forum. People banter and talk shit as well as talk basketball. Sure some of the banter and joking is over-the-top and unnecessary at times.... BUT.... It's an online forum. If you can't stand the heat, get outta the kitchen (I find it disappointing some of you feel so much heat to begin with.).

I'm not looking for that place. I'm generally not one bitching or crying. Given your recent stance on the matters, though, I'm not surprised you're considering taking your own advice and you've started looking for alternatives.

 

Something that I think I told Sly in his first week of his modding, and I still think it's true today.

I get why he changes all personal insults to insult him, but it still leaves it up and the person who was originally insulted can still see it. So it doesn't really defuse the situation.

 

But the tickets were from HCP. Are you really saying it was a problem that people not willing to say nice things about HCP couldn't receive tickets HCP gave away ? It doesn't makes sense

 

Also, It's really not hard to just not give a shit about what some random dude on a online forum says, honestly.
And when you don't care, everything goes smooth !

 

We have been on this forum for 9 years and I have seen your comment (from other people) many times.

It's not going to stop. It's never going to stop. People fight. There aren't enough people on this forum to drown it out. Feuds persist for years. I don't care if I said something that hurt your feelings four years ago. I don't care if I said something that hurt your feelings a week ago. I don't bring up old shit. If you do something that annoys me, I'll say something. We'll have an argument and then I'll move on. And then you have someone like HCP who brings it up over and over again, maybe a week or two after it happened. And yet.... I'm the bad guy?
