dviss, growing up in a very right wing area, I got a ton of anti-Semitic shit. Spit on, beat up because I personally killed Christ, not invited to parties, etc.

And later got it sometimes at work.

BUT - there was never any feeling (maybe until Trump) that the established power in the US was against me. Maybe because I was gay, or radical, not because I'm Jewish, even with assholes like Tricky Dick. It's not a matter of whether I personally buy into the construct of being white.
