...we can hope but there's absolutely no reason for him to opt out...I mean who's gonna give him more money than he's already due from the Yanx?

Unfortunately, only if he continued pitching well.

Looks like that no good nip was number 10 this evening. Opt out hell who would want him the Yankees are stuck. Could not believe that he gave up that bomb with a 2 strike count to Goings, a .223 hitter. To add insult to injury Goings pull a hidden ball trick on that stupid fuck Todd Frazier. Offense failed when needed and yeah Boston won so you people are one step closer to making that asshole Ripken right. Championship teams take care of business or are you hoping that Minnesota will lose enough games to fail. Fact that Severino and Tanaka have faltered in these stretch run starts is cause for concern.

^^^^ :smiley-beerchug: to all the above; well stated

Mr Slurvy hanging balls, with no slide or downard movement, a lack of spin, poor execution, poor everything. His once sharp slurvider crisp; hard breaking imo proves he never had much more than the common sinker, split ball, slider whatever ya' wanna' call it, and hasn't "had it" with an ounce of consistency, well maybe one ounce; all year ie 7-IP in 1 game.

Yep who'd pay him what he's getting, and who'd in there right mind want an overpaid middle of the road #1 (supposed to be) SP, that's a .500 pitcher this year.

Tank's had some pretty good past years number wise, but this year has me wondering if he will ever catch on to the longer grind of American BB. Or is this his transition at its best? in other words will he be the one SP who can go 6IP's instead of 5 on the norm. It seemed he'd be the one SP who would keep his ERA below 3.00 where the hell did he go????

he's making a boat load $$$ Wasn't that a 747 entourage he flew to NYC during his signing/debut..... a 747 ship load of cash then. Is he worth it, hell no, not this year. Even his numbers of years past have been mired by inconsistencies in being able to start, strained elbow, et al.??? I swear Pavano and Brown's ghost haunt this clubhouse, (even tho' neither played in new YS)...

On an UP note, hope to hell the honorable Judge knocks McGwire off the rookie HR pedestal.... Aaron deserves #50-

I never could admire a juicing liar. His disgrace in front of and to the Maris Family was as shameful as I've ever seen a ballplayer.....fku Mc2
