So uh, do you uh.....do you get brownie points for being an inventive racist? I mean this is kind of different and maybe the first time on Earth someone did this exact thing. I don't think it is going to end well though. You guys be the judge. https://www.yahoo.com/news/bar-homemade-apos-lynch-kaepernick-173423896.html
You know @bodyman5000 and 1, one thing I really like about you is that you're unapologetic about when you're insensitive. This bar owner could take a lesson from you. I don't believe for a second that he is stupid enough to have been completely unaware of the implication of the juxtaposition of those jerseys. If he's going to create a blatantly racist doormat, dude just needs to own it instead of playing dumb.
He's a total moron. UNLESS his bar is struggling and he doesn't want to get caught burning it down himself. That shit's getting torched soon.
The NFL rulebook makes no mention of the national anthem. But the game operations manual does. Here's what the game operations manual says regarding the national anthem, according to an NFL spokesperson: The National Anthem must be played prior to every NFL game, and all players must be on the sideline for the National Anthem. During the National Anthem, players on the field and bench area should stand at attention, face the flag, hold helmets in their left hand, and refrain from talking. The home team should ensure that the American flag is in good condition. It should be pointed out to players and coaches that we continue to be judged by the public in this area of respect for the flag and our country. Failure to be on the field by the start of the National Anthem may result in discipline, such as fines, suspensions, and/or the forfeiture of draft choice(s) for violations of the above, including first offenses. http://time.com/4955704/nfl-league-rulebook-a62-63-national-anthem-rule/
From your own link: It's important to note the use of the word "may" here. The NFL is not considering punishing fines on players or teams who choose to kneel or stay in the locker room during the national anthem, the spokesperson says.
There is no "may" here. "It should be pointed out to players and coaches that we continue to be judged by the public in this area of respect for the flag and our country."
Uh huh. Can't wait to see more pictures of black people who offend you and your list of races that don't. Riveting reading.
Gee I thought you were piss at Fake news! Well help me out Sly, the news people insist this is a race thing. What race is it that hijacks the Anthem for their purposes? In my time viewing the events, I can only remember one doing it several time through the years. Not one other, so no sense in creating a list. Probably not going to end either. That is what I gather with the post about training eight year old to do it. It's been going on over the course of the last 50 years and the eight year olds would indicate, no end in sight.
Bad dog. http://www.indystar.com/story/news/...book-actually-says-national-anthem/699886001/ While this language does not appear in the 2017 Official Playing Rules of the National Football League, which is available in its entirety online, it is a part of the game operations manual, which is distributed to all 32 teams, according to NFL spokesperson Brian McCarthy. McCarthy said that the policy has been in place for several years, pre-dating protests that began during the 2016 season.
http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/nfl-ticket-sales-plummet-179/article/2635955 NFL ticket sales plummet 17.9% From TickPick: 17.9 percent decrease in NFL orders this week compared to the previous week. Last year the drop was 10.8 percent in orders on Monday & Tuesday following Week Three games. "We have seen a massive decrease in NFL ticket purchases this past week in comparison to years past. Week 3 seems to usually have less ticket orders than week 2, but this year ticket purchases are down more than 7 percent from this time last year," said TickPick's Jack Slingland. "While we can't specify if this decrease is due to the president's comments, player and owner protests, play on the field, or simply the continued division of consumer's media attention, the conversation around the NFL this week has focused on the president's comments as well as the players' and owners' reaction. As viewers continue to abandon their NFL Sunday habits, both the number of ticket sales and the purchase price of tickets will drop," he told us.
